Road To Joy.

Kate Bosworth at Coachella.
GORGEOUS jumper.
So carefree and relaxed.
What spring should be, no matter who you are.

Fashion Carnage.

The images below chronicle the sad, sad tale of some serious lessons learned on my part.
I leant these gorgeous (not to mention SO goddamn comfortable) babies out to a close friend.
We were all going out in Montreal, and she had no heels.
Being the fashion lover I am, I INSISTED that she wear something 4 inches...
Looked through my luggage, and offered to lend her these.
Now, not only are these beautiful just because, they had sentimental value, too.
I bought them specifically for my mom's wedding to my step-dad last August.
I LOVED these shoes.
After their purchase, I found myself leaping at any opportunity to wear them...
Leaving many other great shoes untouched for months.
So, this fateful night, my lovely little friend found herself in a hospital bed.
She was fine... a little too drunk, but fine.
Not so fine - the shoes weren't going to recover.
Now I have big plans to get them re-soled and to have something done to fix those heels,
But the pain of having my precious MK's out of commission for the summer...
Well... it resides deep within my heart.
An ache for a close friend.
My zippered BFF.

Here is the damage done:

Photo-shoe-t.

Thank god! Found the camera, hooked it up, all is well.
Major breakdown for a second there, though, trying to get it working.
Below is a compilation of shoes I own and adore.

Sorry about the crappy backgrounds of my images as well!
I'm at my parents' house, it's somewhat of a wonder emporium.
Wish they looked more professional!

Shoes: Aldo, Aldo, Icon, Aldo, H&M, H&M, Spring, Aldo, Aldo.
I'm about to post a sad, sad story about my beloved Michael Kors...

Used

There is nothing I adore more than a good trip to Talize.
It's my favourite second hand store at the moment. So big.
I've found some serious treasures there lately.
Favourite section? Boys and girls clothing, age 10 and under!
I apologize, the photos are shitty macbook-webcam quality...
My camera is hidden within the rubble that is my move-out!
I'm really in the mood to dress up and go out tonight.
Unfortunately, it's not only a Sunday, but Mother's Day as well.
Doubt downtown will be much of a party. We'll see.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to wear something gorgeous and post it on here.

Thoughts on New York City

Never been... may stop breathing if I don't go soon.
Definitely a #1 on my places to go, things to see, shoes to buy list.
(Yes, I really have a list like that... it's on my desktop.)

One of my best friends bought me the above poster for my birthday,
She gave it to me last night - I showed her the site a while ago.
I'm in love.

They have hundreds of different cities, different colours, whatever.
Gorgeous little idea, I think.
Can't wait to hang it up in my new house next weekend!
May have to get it framed.
And then actually, you know, GO to Manhattan.
